On January 10, the symposium on World Leading Internet Scientific and Technological Achievements was held in Beijing, with representatives from world-renowned communication and Internet companies such as China Telecom, China Unicom, Qualcomm, Ericsson, Kaspersky, Anmou Technology, Alibaba, Tencent, Baidu, Ant Group, Qi'anxin, CSCR and others, as well as representatives from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Zhijiang Laboratory, Pengcheng Laboratory and other universities and research institutions, nearly 40 representatives of the 2022 leading scientific and technological achievements released and nominated projects selected to participate in the meeting.

The World Internet Conference introduced the positioning of international organizations, organizational structure, important activities and membership rights and other basic information, and summarized and analyzed the characteristics of the projects selected for the World Leading Internet Scientific and Technological Achievements from the main types and the number of selections. The event is the highlight of Wuzhen Summit, which has been held for seven years since 2016. Over the past seven years, the event has received a total of more than 3,000 declared achievements from more than 20 countries and regions around the world. The selected achievements are concentrated in the five major fields of artificial intelligence, big data and cloud computing, high-end chips and processors, network security, 5G and 6G, which are highly compatible with the current ICT hotspots and breakthrough points.

The participants expressed that the leading scientific and technological achievements have been increasingly influential at home and abroad in recent years, with increasing industry attention and maturing organization work. The participants shared their experiences in carrying out science and technology innovation and results declaration, made specific suggestions and recommendations to explore the linkage with the national science and technology innovation evaluation mechanism, strengthen industry empowerment, deepen the exchange and cooperation in specific fields, and optimize the reporting process and system.
