Who can participate?

The competition is open to all video creators who are passionate about China-Africa friendship.

Entry Process

1. The first phase of the call for entries: October 14th to November 30th;

2. The second phase of the selection period: December 1 to December 10th;

3. The third phase of award-winning works announcement and exhibition: December 14th.

Entry Requirements

1. The theme of the works: reflecting the friendship between China and Africa, you can tell the story of China in your eyes, Africa in your eyes. You can convey your interpretation of the key words "China-Africa exchange", "youth power" and "original video" from your perspective and attitude. The content of the video must comply with relevant laws and regulations, be positive, have a prominent theme, and be innovative and creative;

2. Types of works: vlog, documentary, drama, animation, etc;

3. Format: works within 10 minutes in length, with a resolution of not less than 1920*1080 or 1080*1920, accepting video format files such as MPG, MPEG, AVI, MOV, WMV, MP4, etc. It is recommended to export them in MP4/MOV format;

4. Form of participation: Individual or group participation is acceptable. Participants who enter as a team, please coordinate one party as the main reporting unit and identify a contact person;

5. Number of entries: the number of entries is 1 per person (or per team);

6. Quality Requirements: Stable picture, clear sound, no watermarks, markings or station labels, column goals, etc. shall be added to the video screen;

7. Originality requirements: the work must be original, to ensure that there is no imitation and infringement of others' intellectual property rights. If plagiarism, borrowing and other infringements are involved, the contest will be automatically disqualified, and all consequences will be borne by the participants themselves (or the team).

Submission

1. Participants are required to fill in the "Application Form for the 2nd "Meet You" China-Africa Youth Short Video Competition" and sign it by hand;

2. Participants are required to sign the "Confirmation of Authorization for Works Participated in the 2nd "Meet You" China-Africa Youth Short Video Competition" with handwritten signatures;

3. Please send the PDF version of the entry form ,the authorization confirmation and your entry to greattomeetyou@126.com with the subject of "Author's Name (Team Name) + Name of Entry". If you receive the confirmation email, your entry will be considered successful.

Prizes

3 first prizes: US$1000 and a certificate of honor;

6 second prizes, US$800 and honorary certificates;

10 third prizes, with a prize of USD 600 and a certificate of honor;

Several prizes for outstanding works, honorary certificates will be awarded.
