In order to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland, to promote the in-depth linkage of film and television creations between Mainland China and Macao, to tell China's story and Macao's story well in short films, and to present the new era of Macao's development. Organized by the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Office of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, China Film Press Limited, and co-organized by the China Academy of Film Performing Arts, the " Macao Story 2024" Chinese Short Film Season Project of the "China Story" series is open to the whole country to collect short films with the theme of "Macao Story".

I. Call for Entries

December 8, 2023 - February 8, 2024

Directors (may be accompanied by a co-writer)

III. Submissions

Scripts with the theme of "Connection", set in Macau, are invited.

The following materials should be submitted

1. Script outline (1000-1500 words)

2. Director's commentary (300-600 words)

3. A full script of 20-25 minutes in length.

Script format requirements:

 (1) Scene label: scene + location + time + inside and outside scenes, in black font with small four characters flush. Add "," after the scene number. Two lines between the scene and the scene.

 (2) Text: first line indented two characters, Song font, small four characters, single-spaced.

4. Project plan: project introduction, creator's introduction, concept poster (not required)
